I still think that most PC related stocks will be showing serious improvements in demand within the next 2 to 3 quarters and very possibly by the end of the first quarter next year. We are in the calm before the storm, IMO.

The question I have is just how low will these stocks fall before this is realized?

The last 3 years running, this sector gets pummeled this time of year. Once it turns back up, there will be a nice run.

My only question is when will the tide turn? I think as soon as windows 8 is released, at the end of this month, people will start looking at them again. How low will they go before the turn is anyone's guess.

Watching MRVL to see if it plays out like XRTX. After it tanked, it slipped for another 4 days then started to reverse. On the 6th day, it fell but failed to make another new low. Would have been the day to take a chance with a stop placed at either new lows or slightly below the low of that same day depending on your risk tolerance. That would have been a great plan. Now up roughly 10% since that day.

EDIT - Note that MRVL's miss appears substantially larger than XRTX's. Both one year charts are nearly mirror images of each other....
