Now we're getting somewhere. I had forgotten about that important article. Disappointed as I have that issue of FAJ here in my library, and I have referred to it occasionally. And of course, his idea of security analysis changed too. "Essentially, a highly simplified one that applies a single criteria or perhaps two criteria to the price to assure that full value is present and that relies for its results on the performance of the portfolio as a whole--i.e., on the group results--rather than on the expectations for individual issues." Just what I report here when I am buying value stocks.
