Although the influence of newspapers has seen its best days go behind them, there are still the seniors that read them religiously...

Am I off in stating seniors at least in the east are disproportionately white, less educated and leaning GOP these days? I would not be surprised at all in swing states like FL and NH print editions lean more towards their readership.. Maybe Denver and SLC have way less of this demographic reading their papers and more Mexicans instead reading maybe spanish language version since out west in the larger towns even seniors tend to be way more tech savy than the east and south?

Disclosure: I stopped reading print additions of papers at least five years ago. Maybe up to a couple of years ago would glance at a USA Today or WSJ occasionally when traveling so am out of that loop completly but at least don't have to worry about getting black ink stains in hot and humid FL<g>
