I see the 1/32 x 3/32 on FMDYW here:

quote.com

But to me it often looks like MM's (or whoever) set up new a bid and ask as their last action (maybe for overnight activity?). Unfortunately the transaction list doesn't go back far enough to see what the bid/ask was at the time of the visible handful of 1/32 transactions.

BTW Myron - Here's a good one. I checked my "Holdings" at Fidelity WebExpress Monday evening, and it was showing 1 1/2 as the closing price for one of my holdings - a stock that I knew closed Monday in the 2's.

I noticed that the page said the closing prices were as of Saturday (ie. did not include Monday's close) but even on Friday that stock closed over 2 (although the intraday low bid was 1 1/2).

So I sent email to complain about how their Holdings "closing" quotes weren't right, and they told me (paraphrased) "That stock is a small-cap Nasdaq stock so we use the intraday low instead of the close to show the value of your holdings".
