You want so badly for your guy to be right, that you've begun to ignore all the facts around you. It's classic bias and anchoring. The facts are the economy is improving. You keep telling us we're going into recession despite these facts to the contrary. Most days RW, Chinu or I provide you with these facts. Its YOU who ignores them. The facts are that Obama runs the govern much more competently than Bush or any R ever did or could. Bush spent 7 years looking for bin Laden; Obama took him out in 2-3 years. Obama saved the auto industry; I shudder to think what Bush or Romney would have done. There is a very good reason that the voting trend lines in OH support Obama. Its called saving Detroit. The American auto industry has never been in better shape. Bernanke and his policies kept this country from falling off a cliff, and we are now in recovery. Europe which has done mostly what your economic gurus have thought is the best course of action.......austerity.........is mired in its 2nd recession in 4 years albeit a mild one. The fact is there are cities like mine in which the predominate bird on the landscape is now the building crane. Even I am stunned at how much bldg is happening here.............and from my read of the stats, there are any number of cities in this country doing better than Seattle........cities like Austin, Little Rock, Pittsburgh, DC, Salt Lake, Boston, Raleigh Durham, Madison and Portland. The truth of the matter is that your policies are mostly R talking points..........and have a long history of minimal success. You're frustrated that they are failing you, but flail out at us instead of figuring out why they are failing. You say you were born and raised in TX........which suggests an R background and someone steeped in R policies. Sounds to me like you are the one suffering from inflexibility and not the people on this thread.
