'Censorship has reached small town America'

'Dreams from My Real Father' proves hot to handle for tiny Midwest city

A tea party group in Fairfield, Iowa, had put up posters, advertised and spoken on the radio, excited about bringing filmmaker Joel Gilbert to town to show and answer questions about his Obama exposé, “Dreams from My Real Father.”

But then rumors of complaints began to circulate in this small city of 9,464, and controversy erupted. Only days before the Oct. 13 event, The Fairfield Arts & Convention Center, where the film was to be shown, cancelled the event until its board could evaluate whether such a politically hot-topic film would violate the Center’s non-profit status.

“Censorship has reached small town America, not just major metros where Democrats have more control,” Gilbert told WND at the time. “Iowa’s the middle of country; if we have censorship in little towns there, is there any hope for the First Amendment?”

Gilbert told WND the tea party group was suddenly out all its advertising dollars, and the plane ticket to Iowa he held in his hand was rendered pointless.

Four days after the event was scheduled to take place, however, the Center relented and agreed the film could be shown after all – with a few conditions.

“The promoter must present a clear disclaimer stating that the viewpoints represented in the film are those of the filmmaker and do not represent the viewpoints of the Center and that the movie contains subject matter that may be deemed offensive by some viewers,” the Center’s board of directors announced. “In turn, the Center will continue to offer others the right to rent the facility on the same basis, including standard rental fee, as it is being offered to this promoter. In addition, the Center will not sell tickets or promote or publicize the film in any manner.”

“We don’t want to limit political speech,” Rob Steinberg, the Center’s chairman of the board, told the Fairfield Ledger, “but limit the manner in which it is presented, because we don’t want to engage in political advocacy.”

Even though a Center donor reported the facility had previously shown “An Inconvenient Truth” from Al Gore and Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 911,” Center Director Rustin Lippincott told the Ledger he’s never received the amount of public feedback that this screening of “Dreams from My Real Father” has prompted.

“This is something that has never come to us before,” Lippincott said. “This is uncharted waters.”

Gilbert’s description of the film may reveal why it’s so controversial: “‘Dreams from My Real Father’ demonstrates that Obama has a deeply disturbing family background, which he intentionally obscured, to hide a Marxist political foundation. ‘Dreams from My Real Father’ is the story Barack Obama should have told, revealing his true agenda for ‘fundamentally transforming America.’”

Gilbert’s film shows how Obama sold himself to America as the multicultural ideal, a man who stood above politics. His father was a goat herder from Kenya, he told the electorate in 2008, so he would bring people together. Folks perceived Obama as a nice man with an inspiring family story.

In reality, Gilbert contends, Obama’s real father was Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party USA propagandist who likely shaped Obama’s worldview during his formative years.

Gilbert explained that while voters will overlook some fudging by politicians, promoting a false family background to hide an agenda irreconcilable with American values is a totally unacceptable manipulation of the electorate.

“Barack Obama must now come clean,” Gilbert insisted. “Instead of misrepresenting himself as he did in 2008, Obama should say, ‘My father was a Communist Party propagandist and suspected Soviet agent who indoctrinated me into Marxist ideology. Please vote for me so I can destroy the American middle class and create a one-party political system.’”

Gilbert emphasized the extensive research backing the claims made in his film: “I have been to Hawaii twice researching Obama’s inspiring family story of a Kenyan goat herder father. That is twice as many times as all of the mainstream media combined! Who could have imagined that news organizations with hundreds of reporters, and multi-million dollar budgets, wouldn’t investigate a presidential candidate’s background in 2008 and would ignore doing so again in 2012?”

His research extended to examine Chicago and the roots of the Frank Marshall Davis ideology.

“Davis joined the Communist party in Chicago, only 15 years after the Bolshevik Revolution,” Gilbert said. “You can hear the classic Marxism in Obama’s campaign, the ‘top 1 percent oppressing the 99 percent,’ and ‘you didn’t build your business, it was done on the backs of the proletariat,’ and so on. Marxism is a failed ideology that has no basis in fact in the American reality where the middle class has prospered and the issue of poverty is taken seriously.”

Gilbert said getting the American public to understand the official Obama nativity story is a fabrication will not be an easy task.

“Obama’s election was not a sudden political phenomenon,” he explained. “It was the culmination of an American socialist movement that Frank Marshall Davis nurtured in Chicago and Hawaii, and has been quietly infiltrating the U.S. economy, universities and media for decades.”

A trailer for “Dreams from My Real Father” can be seen below.

Tea party organizers in Fairfield told WND they are hoping to reschedule the screening of “Dreams from My Real Father,” including bringing Gilbert to town, later this month.

NEW YORK: Yet Another State Senate Democrat Arrested For Finance Scam
It never ends for New York's insanely corrupt Senate Democrats. Sen. Shirley Huntley (Queens) has been hauled away in handcuffs.
State Sen. Shirley Huntley was arrested this morning and pleaded not guilty to charges that she allegedly funneled taxpayer money through her Queens non-profit program. Huntley and several other defendants did not speak during their initial appearance in a Mineola courtroom. They were all released on their own recognizance and ordered back to court on Sept. 14. Outside court, Huntley repeatedly said “It’s a great day” to every question fired at her. The Post first reported last year how Huntley, a who represents Jamaica, Laurelton and South Ozone Park, tried to direct $155,000 to her Parent Workshop nonprofit. She’s been charged with conspiracy in the fifth degree, tampering with evidence and falsifying business records. Prosecutors will claim that Huntley and other defendants falsified papers, making it appear that Parent Workshop performed services stated in the contract, when no such services were ever performed, sources said.
You may recall that Huntley once famously declared about New York's marriage equality bill: "If they gave me a million dollars, tax free, I just wouldn't vote for it." During her successful 2010 reelection bid, Huntley claimed that gay activists were harassing her with death threats and that she'd received a funeral bouquet at her home. Those claims were never substantiated, but Huntley used the supposed threats in her campaign materials. Huntley abruptly changed her mind and did vote for the marriage bill once all the other Democrats (except Sen. Ruben Diaz) fell in line.

Huntley is the fourth New York Senate Democrat to be arrested in the last couple of years. Closet case Carl Kruger is now serving a seven year prison sentence for a bribery and corruption scam he ran with his gynecologist boyfriend. Hiram Monserrate was expelled from the Senate in 2009 after being convicted of charged with slashing his girlfriend's face with a broken glass and he will be sentenced next month after being convicted of ripping off the state to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. In May of this year, Pedro Espada was convicted of stealing more than $500,000 from the federally funded health agency he managed. He remains free while facing retrial on other charges which deadlocked the first jury.

Again, Kenneth.....no link so that I could confirm. So I googled it. Read about 10 articles on the subject and NOT ONE indicated the party of the individual and NOT ONE identified the party on the registration cards that were thrown in the dumpster. So, without any evidence to the contrary, I could easily believe that this guy was a Democrat and was throwing away Republican registration cards.

Whistle-blower audio: Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband cut business deals in Senate Dining Room

10/18/2012
Matthew Boyle
dailycaller.com

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller.

“The thing that irritated me about this was he [McCaskill’s husband Joseph Shepard] entertained these outside investors in the Senate Dining Room,” the whistle-blower said. “That’s where he closed the deal.”

The whistle-blower, Craig Woods, was a longtime high-ranking official within Shepard’s business empire, serving first as chief financial officer and then as vice president and chief underwriter for Missouri Equity Investors LLC and JA Shepard Companies.

His LinkedIn page indicates he left the company in January 2011, a few months before debriefing a Republican operative who made the recording.

According to the McCaskill campaign, Woods pled guilty in the 1990s in two different cases of felony larceny and spent some time in prison after that.

The campaign also said that Woods lied to McCaskill’s husband about his past on his job application, and submitted a resume detailing “jobs” he held when he was actually in prison.

“Craig Woods is a twice-convicted felon and a disgruntled former employee who lied repeatedly to Claire’s husband about his criminal past of fraud and embezzlement,” McCaskill spokeswoman Caitlin Legacki said in an email to TheDC in response to the allegations. “There is absolutely no merit to these claims. It is shocking that Todd Akin would pin the hopes of his campaign on a twice-convicted felon and a proven liar, but I guess Todd Akin is incredibly desperate at this point. This is a despicable new low, especially for Todd Akin, and he should be ashamed of himself.”

Several Republican sources, including those who conducted the interview, confirmed the identity of the whistle-blower and the details surrounding their meeting. TheDC is protecting the identity of those GOP sources because they were not authorized to speak on the record. TheDC has also disguised the voice of the lone GOP operative whose voice is heard on the recording.

“He [McCaskill’s husband] did four projects — these were rural development deals where he came in and stole from a guy and he did the federal credits and he got Enterprise Bank to invest in those four deals and those have been really iffy,” Woods said on the tape.

Woods said those four projects — housing developments — were “all here in Missouri.” He explained how Shepard brokered deals with investors who counted on high returns in the form of federal and state tax credits that came with these projects. In return for the deals, Woods said, the investors gave Shepard cash he could use elsewhere in his business.

“The reason these [specific projects] were so attractive to him, the reason he wanted to do them, was they got ARRA funds, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds,” Woods said, referring to how some programs were tied to President Barack Obama’s 2009 stimulus package.

Woods said one such project, in Clinton, Missouri, got “$5.5 million in stimulus funds. They didn’t have to borrow a dollar.”

Woods said Shepard “bundle[d]” that stimulus-funded project with two other projects that didn’t get stimulus money in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Hannibal, Missouri, and took the tax credits from all three to an investor in “the Baltimore-DC area.” Woods added the the “free cash” from the stimulus-funded project packaged with the other two projects was a more “attractive” tax credit deal for investors than three separate deals in which the tax credits from each project were sold separately.

I was wondering why you switched to a phony voter fraud tactic today. Doncha like the poll results kennedy?

Like this one:

Daily Swing State Tracking Poll
Swing State Tracking: Romney 50%, Obama 46%

rasmussenreports.com

or mebbe this one:

**GALLUP SHOCK** Romney Maintains Six Point Lead

While we were all enjoying the ride while it lasted, I don't know of anyone who expected Romney to still hold a six-point, 51-45%, lead in the Gallup poll when today's numbers rolled in. But he did. This is the fifth day in a row where Romney's been at 50 or above and
the fourth day in a row he's been ahead of Obama by six points or more.

. breitbart.com

Would you like me to find more for you kennedy, or are you too busy puking from disgust for supporting a muslim do-nothing failure?
