There is no comparison with Robert McNamara. The comparison with Romney is that they are both very bright guys, highly educated, with a business track record. The idea that the Prez should be a terrific manager has a lot of holes. The ability to motivate the voters is the most important, and that is Romney's weakest point. Yes, I know about McNamara's business failures. We have no way of knowing how it will turn out. If we can get the Senate too, we will have a fair idea from then on of how much can be changed.
