What a hideous cacophony [the quiet reflection music]. The Internationale is stirring in a group-think kind of way, but amenable to the likes of Vlad the Impaler and acolytes like Haim thinking they are onto a good idea. They could consider progress of such ideology in Stalin's USSR and in Mao's Maelstrom to see how it would run in down-town New York and Los Angeles.

Fortunately, gold has had its day.

We the People won't mess about with gold. Nor will we work to repay government loans from their friends in high places be they in Germany or elsewhere. A Greek reset with government bludgers getting real jobs making souvlaki is the way to go. Iraqis told USSR to whistle for repayment. Icelanders told creditors to get lost. Creditors should be careful of who they lend to. The idea that lending to governments is safe is a crazy idea.

Speak of the Devil. Heads-up: <Jones was right: Since Obama has been president, everything you own -- your home, pension, savings accounts, weekly paychecks -- are all worth less.

Meanwhile, everything you need
-- gas, food, and anything else that requires fuel to be transported to you -- costs more.
