thread, had hank purchased the spread I talked about he would have made even more money now.
the spread cost him
dell dec 95 call 7/8 now worth 2
dell dec 90 call 3.5 now worth 4

He sold the dec 90 so he's down 50 cents
but he would be up 1.125 on the dec 95's.

So, now that the positon is lookng poorly and everyone is talking dell at 100 w/i 2 weeks if he wanted to close it out . He makes .625
profit even though the position failed<gggggg>

hank, wise up....chck out spreads on shorting the stock.

PS. it's already verboten to talk about certain aspects of dell
now, what I/S mgrs. are really doing instead of what pigheaded engr say the are doing is a verboten discussion.
I/S strategy is out.
I would suggest that you get several sources for info.
Get Information Week and get computerworld
Join the Information professional group in your city
and Join APICS and CASA.
Also, the magazine Manufacturing Systems and computer Telephony

Most of these will support many of the things I talk about.
But, I'm wore out trying to tell a couple of engineers about what is really happening in Information technology.

Even the Engrs. at my compnay agree with my hardware strategy.
Of course they aren't perfect since they wonder why I'm not on the beta version of Microsoft WinNT5.0 and Outlook(just off beta and still
has more bugs than a spider horror movie)<ggggg>
