Sure they are. Not everyone gets a given tax break.

Regardless of their exact means of funding, they still are a government benefit.

Changing it to redistribution doesn't change the fact that some people get disproportionate benefit from all of these things than others.


If a mugger robs you at gunpoint and takes all your cash but says, "Oh, I'll let you keep your watch", that isn't a "benefit" of being robbed.
