No. In case you haven't noticed, housing costs are not the same across the country. While salaries are also not the same, in many places it doesn't make up the difference. For example, it is pretty easy to buy a house in Dallas with solid middle class income. In much of California, not even close. Even when adjusted for salary differences.

But, funny you should try this. According to many on the Right, the roughly 47% who don't make enough money to pay income tax are abusing the system. They seem to consider it a great benefit...
