Cannot count on Ohio in the bag. Romney cheats since he was a kid, he bullied, he is a mean and evil guy and will do whatever it takes to win the top prize. Ohio voting machines are made and operated by a company owned by Ann Romney and Tagg and his brothers. Since they electronic machines, it is hard to audit as compared to paper ballots. Remember that there was some real oddities when suddenly Kerry lost to Bush in Ohio while the polls showed Kerry was far ahead.

History may repeat.

Good call on the split between the states. I think this election is really boiling down to Ohio. If Romney fails to get Ohio, then none of the other states matter. Right now, Obama is in the lead there.

BTW, that's an interesting idea you have about watching priceline's stock. Those are the best ideas...looking at unconventional leading indicators to assess where the economy may be headed. The more unconventional the better, because it means you may have an edge if the mainstream isn't using it.

In Florida they should send Biden to areas with mostly older retirees from the north while Obama should go to the largest metro areas. The rest of the state that is old south was lost a long time ago like going to MS and AL

We know that in this system, it does not matter who gets the majority of the popular vote. Mathematically, I don't see how a Republican who fails to get the EC gets a majority share of the popular vote. The safe Blue states have very large populations favoring Democrats in the popularity vote.

Another way to look at it is to ask how can Republican get majority of popular vote (as is likely based on the current polls) and still lose EC (based on the current polls).
