Greg, It disturbs me to see RMBS compared to the likes of DELL and CSCO. While I have contemplated shorting DELL and will continue to keep an eye on their sales in the coming year, they still have a hell of a lot stronger fundamentals then RMBS. I am very cautious about shorting them, but have no problem shorting RMBS.

As far as shorts covering their positions on RMBS, it may be possible, but oddly enough the largest share volume (roughly 20% of the day's activity) occured on a price downtick, a sign of selling pressure. The increase in price at the end of the day was on lower volume. Not sure how to interpret that, but its been the same for the last week, large volumes moving down, small volumes moving up.

Good luck!
