The risk/reward potential here is tremendous. Unfortunately, I am not buying since I have no cash left. :( Just some interesting things that I have read lately: 1) Survey of IS managers indicated 70% intend to reconsolidate storage in the data center - HELLO Fibre Channel. These are the guys who spend the bucks. 2) Windows NT 5.0 is slipping out of 98 - HELLO UNIX Server Vendors. (And anyone who is thinking of deploying mission critical apps on NT is absolutely incompetent in my opinion - why not go with a proven, scalable, robust technology like UNIX rather than a buggy, 1st generation system developed by some snotty nosed kids in Redmond who have no clue what kind of impact network implosions have on critical business processes.) 3) Storage requirements are growing exponentially.
