I'm dipping my toe into some more positions today with nice yields for companies that have already announced earnings. No sense it getting in front of any stocks before earnings are announced.

S & P cash level is approaching a record high. Still plenty of room for higher dividend yields. The 5% dip in the DOW does a lot to improve dividend valuations.

US companies have built fortress balance sheets over the past 4 years, especially in the financial sector. Tech companies are sitting on more cash than they need.

Lot's of positives out there beyond the EPS headlines. Otherwise, I suspect the bond market would be screaming higher today if there were any real problems.

Earnings recovery has normalized, which simply gives people an excuse to take profits. Recovery in economic growth and employment is just beginning to materialize this year.

Did you use the 1408.4 VP from the earlier sell signal? TIA
