Probably. In that neighborhood, surrounded by mortal enemies, it would make sense.

Didn't happen.

Furthermore, Iran is already waging a proxy war against Israel through Hezbollah.
Israel has been carrying out assassinations in Iran through MEK. Heck, even in Tehran. Israel can take care of itself.

I think it's obvious. Israel getting nuked IS an "important geopolitical implication." And of course Israelis themselves believe it, or else they wouldn't take such pre-emptive and unilateral steps for their own protection.
How many Israelis truly believe that? In a recent poll, a large majority were not interested in going to war with Iran unless the US joined in. How serious can you be that you will only do something if someone does the dying for you?
