Your SG contra indicator may be correct, however the open interest in the April 20s was only up 20 contracts today and the price was unchanged at 1/8. This indicates to me that little is expected or that few know if anything is about to happen.

At any rate, I'm holding tight to my shares and April 20 calls.

Re: SG [He normally shows up in Pit Bull Style Negative Fashion just before a big Up move]

Hi Ray,

I've been aware of the "SG" indicator for sometime now but I must question your wisdom in letting the cat out of the bag. As many accomplished technicians such as yourself are aware; even the best of systems cease to perform once they become widely disseminated........... Oh what the heck! - Not only does this remarkable indicator (the SG) have the uncanny ability to forshadow major up moves,(I beleive)it actually precipitates them- a feat rarely matched although a few names do come to mind; the Granville, the Garzarelli ,the Prector, and one of my favorites albeit obscure, the Malloy indicator.Perhaps we could somehow encourage the author to commence a running commentary on the the S&P futures contract so as to enable us in a "pure" play. In all due respect, please keep in mind the old addage: "Even a broken clock is right twice a day"
Until then, I guess I'll just have to load up on 10 more of these cheap April 20's......... Please move over Mr. Gates, Mr.Schmedley needs a little space at the table.

Thank You

Schmedley
