Hi all, got back from the beach last night, but apparantly S.I. was down. Thanks for all the information on Ascom. I still haven't seen where Bill signed the bill for sure, did he? Have received a disturbing E-mail note from the C.E.O. of Kidzkard saying he gave a truck-load of business to a compeditor because "Mr. Fowler" was too busy to ask for the order. If anyone has Randy's E-mail, I would like to have it so I can relay this important message and try to see why the ball was dropped on a project that was apparantly all but in the bag. I certainly hope IDX hasn't got to the point where a lack of communications is costing the shareholders money. The loss to date is over 500 scanners! They are anticipating another 4000 in 1998. They are going on-line in 3 weeks with 13 hospitals and have requests from 140 more hospitals. Apparantly they were aligned with B.A.T. before IDX bought them and have been abandened since. He said he was forced to align with Computer Ass., Kodak and All State Insurance. Said if Identix called the door is still open! On another related issue, I personally have had a request E-mailed to IDX in referance to a buying group of which I am a member of. There will be about 1000 members of our group and we are looking for a secure method to order TV's and Appliances and furniture from our main office. To date, no one from Identix or fingerscan has made any contact with me about this. The request was made by B.G. for me about 4 months ago. Again it appears that is a severe lack of communications in this company that needs to be immediately addressed. As always, this is my opinion only, taken from imformation that was given to me at my request.
