Since you like to do the math, I am posting this to you. Romney's math just doesn't add up. He is going to be no better than Obama.

Ted, it's not about bad and you know it. It's about direction. Are these bellwethers slowing or growing? Are they meeting, beating or missing earnings estimates? Are they increasing or lowering future guidance?

We have bellwether companies missing earnings left and right and lowering future guidance. That is an indicator of an economic slowdown, if not a recession underway. Why won't you admit the obvious?

They are not bellwether companies.......they are not even bellwether tech companies. They are bellwether PC companies. And it comes as no surprise the PC industry is in a slowdown.......they have been there for the last year due to Europe's slowdown and China's cutbacks. Plus, the PC industry is not the growth industry it once was. The global market has become pretty saturated. Its why MSFT's stock has gone virtually unchanged over the past decade.

Once again, you are cherry picking hoping to support your recession thesis.
