<<<<<Nikkei futures up today.

......if japan can stabilize the banking system over the next few months and deregulation continues, i think we will have a buy signal.

.......wsj had article yesterday saying fidelity is setting up offices in japanese banks! wait till the investors have baskets of stocks and funds that pay more than 1-2% per year.

.......think about it--international mutual fund that includes such things as japanese blue chips, strong u.s. and european companies offering 10-20% per year.

.......in 3-5 years most japanese will be back into the market big time. until now they had no guidance due to the lack of transparency and the yazuka/cronyism--imagine the americans seen as honest!

......i am getting more bullish but want to see structural awakening from the economic weaklings that run the economy--note that the blue chips are doing well inspite of the recession and flu.

......also note toyota is building a new plant in france!
