Considering who's posting this, it is almost certainly wrong. However, on the remote chance that you might have accidently posted something correct, how about a reference and also an explanation as to how they seperate the PII from the cache so as to make such a measurement.

John; I have seen these tiny hall effect probes that can sit on a small trace and measure the current on a circuit board, with a fairly high frequency too. Is this how they measure currents within portions of an IC?, or do the hall probes have a lower limit and they use ?? for the real fine lines. Just curious how they get deep into .25 micron stuff and measure V, I, C, L etc.
