Tough toenails. You want the Government to pass a law forcing a competitor to let you sell your product at a profit? Of course you do. But you shouldn't be able to get it. Our major problem today is companies constantly trying to gain a legal advantage for themselves to keep competitors out. A level playing field, where we all play by the same rules, is the best thing for the society. Not the best thing for you, when you can't compete, but that's too bad.

You can't fine tune the market any better than Mr Market can. What we need is called the "creative destruction" of Capitalism to flourish. Adam Smith described the problem very well:

People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices.
