Hi TimF; Yeah, probably the best evidence that there's no big problem with GM corn and soybeans in particular is that it's been fed to almost all lab animals in the US for 15 years. If there were some sudden problem with breeding it would have been noticed in that group even if it weren't noticed in the human population.

My guess is that someone is eventually going to vote to require GM notification on foods and that the result will be no change in consumer purchases. People say that they won't buy GM foods but the labels instead will say "may contain" and people shop for food when they're hungry. And the people with lots of money and time on their hands are already buying organic.
