There is a steak joint in Montana that is very popular. It is owned by a very decorated vietnam vet. The restaurant is hopping because evrybody in california who has made a nickel bought some land there. Anyway, this restaurant doesnt take reservations and evrybody has to wait in line. One night, Ted Turner and his then wife Jane arrrive and go to the door and ask to speak to my buddy, Jim. greets Ted Turner and Ted says.... " hello, I am Ted Turner and I would like to know how long it will be to get a table. My buddy looks him straight in the eye, and says,,,,,,,, " for you, Mr Turner it will be about 20 mins..... but for your wife........NEVER !!!!!!" True story. I ask my friend what did Ted Turner say... And he said Nothing,,, just turned around and walked off.

Ann, Ted Turner is a major jerk(see headline) I do not believe, but, I have to agree with you on your statement. I have to many family and friends who have served in the military to protect us from our enemies. But, as one on my friends who was a paratrooper Master Sergeant in Cambodia and Korea with over 300 jumps stated to me, "killing does leave a mental impression on your life." He was required to go through debriefing after returning from his tours. He stated that some of his fellow soldiers could make the adjustments while others could not. TX says it will arrest UN polling monitors..haha..luv Texans. What would happen if the President would Nationalize, activate and call up the Texas National Guard to protect the polls from fraud in Texas. I do not know what the rights would be of the Feds vs the State rights on this matter. Does anyone know what the priority would be? It certainly would be an interesting situation State rights vs Federal rights over the military.
