Lower margins. Quite a bit actually, based on their guidance.

52b guidance is still pretty amazing.

Sigh. You just have to wonder.

Apple $35.86 billion = +27% ... $8.2 BILLION - P/E = 14.... with 121BILLION in the bank, enough to buy Amazon, and returns a dividend

Amazon: $13.8 billion = +27% ... $-28 million - P/E 271.52

Even looking into the future, how is Amazon ever going to turn the kind of profits Apple makes, considering Wallymart is on their heels and Costco is actually underselling them and by a considerable amount. That business generates and always has, minuscule profits and is always vulnerable.

I'm going to buy one of these today at Costco:

amazon.com

Amazon price $104
Costco price $70!!!

plus two other items Costco wins on.

I wouldn't trust anything but Apple's own guidance going forward.
Right on. I had been thinking the same thing.

They haven't missed their own projected numbers yet.
