'we owe it to ourselves debt does not matter'. We owed to others, and we were fleeced real good.

Washed. Left hanging to dry. Ironed and folded.

Once US started moving volumes of money around like there was no tomorrow there was money spilling over enough to pay quickly and the teat of the cow went dry.

Today every US citizen owes USD1.000 each. If counted only the working US citizen it is about USD4.500 each owe us.
