I am following North Carolina a bit more closely. Demographics, trends look favorable to O.

I exported data from this site to excel and found that there are 1606824 more democrats than Republicans. Also there is a huge chunk of Unaffiliaated voters ( 3386550 of them). Not sure which way they lean

Key to winning NC is GOTV from Obama campaign which they seem to doing ok so far. However Romney is doing much better than McCain in 2008, but still lagging Obama. Let us see how this plays out.

Fair enough. It's just interesting to me that when I posted that Apple had a bad Q3 and was likely to miss in Q4, both you and RW called me a liar and told me I got the fiscal quarters wrong. Yours and RW's statements were very misleading to the thread, especially considering I was right on both points. So if you are interested in truth, as I am, then it is important that we set the record straight.

Anyway, no worries. Enough said on this issue. BTW, on your point on how you look for unconventional ways to get leading indicators of economic direction, I actually said I thought that was clever and that I do a lot of the same things. So I said we're alike on that point, not different. I too am a process guy, though business background, not engineering. So it seems we think alike, but sometimes come to different conclusions. That's ok. That's America for you.
