How pathetic is this?:

Apple wannabe Microsoft paying people $100 to line up for Surface tablets at retail stores

Why is Amazon up?
Maybe if Apple would sell its iphones and ipads at a loss its stock would go up.

Why is Amazon up?
AMZN's price movement has been inexplicable for a long time.

One reason is China.

Amazon is progressing in China and opening in 2 other countries.

It was on the cc.

Also investors liked that the company filed its Form 10-Q the day after the cc.

AMZN's earnings was almost an exact repeat of last time, almost to the penny in the after hours action & next day runnup. If you look back to the low of 214 there on july 24th , it doesnt show the night in the A/H before which also tagged "$205" which was the low thursday night exactly too.

The "boyz" also just want to be in the name for upcoming Xmas /Holidays as a play since they are just wiping out brick n mortar now & the way everyone shops now days. (BBY just warning again) Also AMZN is a huge enterprise cloud data storage & web developer play now "AWS" , thats quietly grown to be massive . They have 10 data storage centers and just one of them is larger than all of Rackspace .
aws.amazon.com

One short in the am worked as the SPY & AAPL were initially weak (AAPL should bounce from here, SPY willing) then it was bounce time and get long off 228 or just stay out of its way . You have the RSI 30 getting tagged which for AMZN is majorly overssold and shorts from double top up at $260's (thats me) also adding fuel covering finally into the bad news .

AMZN , so july 24th ER it hit 205 in the a/h then bounces 40pts, then does it again yest , this is how the big Boyz make money , you just have to keep an open mind and roll with it. Getting in AMZN's way is even more painful than AAPL if on the wrong side of the trade when the Buy Bots kick in , though AAPL has been gangbusters on the short side till yest .

We shoud see a bounce on AAPL , again a Holiday push off the 200ma ,( hopefully its that simple.)

Always a chance SPY falls further too , but they'll try to think of something to keep it up .
