These folks in Congress, Rush Limbaugh etc. have been rooting for the US to fail. Unfortunately they have convinced some that it is. Those with a pea brain can easily see that it is on an upward trajectory albeit slowly which is very good. If it spikes, then it is sure to have a hard landing.

And Q3 comes in at 2%.........what say you now:

I am glad that it is above the Q2 rate of 1.3%.

But 2% is no picnic. Average growth rate of the economy is 3.25% according to BEA. Which means that to get to the average after recessions, the recovery growth rate needs to be much higher than 3.25%.

So far this year, we have 2%, 1.3% and 2%. That averages to 1.77%. If this was a real recovery, we would be growing at 4% or higher. So this is no recovery.
