The previous quarter final revision was 1.3% down from the second revision of 1.7%. So this reading of 2% may come down as much as 0.4%

Its doubtful that it will be revised downward because things are getting better but let's worry about it when it happens. In the meantime, your econ guru's recession call is a no show. So sorry.

Some revisions are up and some are down. They are not always down. I'd guess that more are up than down if you take a long enough period.
