Hey D&G; Remember: It's only money!

And there is a h#$% of a lot more of it around then there ought
to be... Which is why US stocks are outa sight.

I'm beginning to suspect that the US wreck won't happen until
all those dollars come flooding back into the country. Get a
little inflation going. Run the price of gold up. See some interest
rates rise. But US stocks are at high enough levels that I cannot
eliminate the possibility of a crash now. So I'll keep my puts.
I did sell all my December stuff a couple weeks ago and moved
into January to April expirations. Worst mistake was selling
my Warner Lambert puts at a reasonable profit. They were
going for $20.50 at close today, I sold em for something like
$4 at a slight profit when the first news came out about the
effects of that drug of theirs. I figured "sell the news".
And TXN wrecked after I took profits in my puts there as
well. Maybe I should let all my options run to expiration?

I guess I'm not in a glum mood cause it appears that I'll
collect about $18K tomorrow morning off of some incentive
stock options. My biggest fear is the market zooming leaving
my puts worthless while my company stock dives, leaving my
employee stock options worthless. I'm relieved. I'm gonna
take half the after tax and turn it into puts over the next few
months.

Also, TLC? I thought the story was great! That is pretty much
complete evidence that you ought to be put away. I loved the
comment on human nature. I would probably comment on
chicken nature (including, perhaps, my favorite disgusting
Texan chicken joke), but I don't relish being thrown off SI.
Maybe I'll e-mail it to you.

Speaking of great fattening food, try the Denali ice cream
flavor "Caramel Caribou".
