Oh Lordie....from epicure's board...

Benen: "Romney's advance teams still aren't doing their homework before scheduling events. Today, the GOP candidate will deliver a speech on the economy, condemning President Obama's Recovery Act at a business that was helped by President Obama's Recovery Act.The owner of an Iowa construction company where Mitt Romney will deliver a speech on the economy received stimulus funds, according to the government's web site that tracks expenditures from the federal program.

Yes, Kinzler Construction Services received a $1.25 million Small Business Administration loan through the stimulus, on top of $650,000 in Obama administration grants and a $40,000 government contract to renovate a government building.

In other words, Romney will condemn the efficacy of the stimulus at a private business that benefited from the stimulus. Shouldn't that undermine Romney's credibility a bit?"

Larry Sabato, who takes his cue from RCP, says Obama is 3 shy of EC votes and shows 4 states in play. Interesting map.

Maybe that is why Bill Clinton is going to VA and Romney campaign is focusing on OH.

From the polls I have read, I don't consider NH and WI toss up.........more lean Obama. CO and VA yes. VA I think comes home in the end.........I don't understand what's happening in CO. And I wish we could get NC but I know that's a tough one. FL? I don't have a clue. RW thinks we've lost that one........he's probably right.

Romney focusing on OH is out of desperation.............without OH, he has a very difficult path to 270 EV. And I could be wrong but my sense is that OH is moving closer to Obama.
