Eric, Maybe a new CFO might be what we need. I hope this PhD thinks in terms of $'s as well as technology.

Eric: Ah, but the "market" always looks 1-2 years out. If so we should see some good appreciation now. Also it has been my experience that Ph.D's can get lost in the world of business. Of course, there are exceptions (Dr. House the CEO of Bay comes to mind). What VTEL needs is better marketing and sales, the technology has for the most part become somewhat of a commodity. RBOC experience and NEC?
Well, I for one would like to see someone from INTEL, or Cisco etc come on board. Also, someone good at cost containment. At least on this score Vtel did a pretty good job with the CLIX merger. Dr. Bravos may know Physics but I hope he gets VTEL out of the stars and routes them firmly on earth. Just my opinion but as someone who works in R&D and is surrounded by PhD employees, I am not to thrilled with his resume.
