LOCKED VAULT! What do you think they'll do? Use their iGeiger app on their iPhone and then wake up Geraldo Rivera from cold storage. It's what the German's decided. Deciding to not create the waste is not possible after the fact, we have it - what do we do with it now? Where do we store it - you know it's unsafe where it is and it's leaking now.

Bentway, I mean, we're stewards of the Earth. We should think of that before creating nuclear waste. I agree, but whatever happened to "Do as you will"? Seems like you DO worship a god. I personally think that we'll have fusion power figured out in a few generations. Voila, no more waste from fission. Then we can figure out what to do with the waste. That's better than trying to run the world on solar and wind, which will never be sufficient unless we reduce Earth's population by about 50%. Tenchusatsu
