RGallon of Milk $2.16 to $4.59 +113%

Where is milk 4.59/gallon? We have dairy farmers all over the country going out of business because of low milk prices....

I can get 2 gallons for 5.75 at the local food warehouse....which equals 2.38/gallon.

Furthermore, R's won't pass the Farm Bill until AFTER the elections.

huffingtonpost.com

If the Farm Bill is not renewed by Congress by the end of the year, the price of milk could surpass $6 a gallon, according to CBS News. That would be a big problem for Americans who are already spending on average 10.6 percent of their grocery budget on dairy products.

Republican leaders in the House of Representatives have said they will not consider the new farm bill until after the November elections, according to ABC2 News.

You're measuring from 2008. Must be from an anti-Obama site, that doesn't know he took office in 2009.

Hey Neil:

Wake up. You are dreaming. What do you think about Romney injecting race into this very openly. Should he not fire Sununu. Romney refusing to fir Sununu or withdrawing his endorsement of Mudock is no "poor choice of words". It is a poor judgement.

BINGO, Neil. This thread seems to be utterly clueless as to what is going on. I don't know what our universities are teaching people nowadays, but economics of the real world is not it. Someone has loaded our textbooks with fantasy land economics, where all that is required to solve any economic problem is money printing. And the Democrats, and a darned large percentage of the Republicans, have bought that hook, line, and sinker. It's time that people start getting taught Austrian economics, where all of this was predicted as a natural cause and effect of economic and monetary processes.
