COLUMBUS, Ohio — In Ohio, a person can register to vote up to 30 days before the election, with absentee voting starting 35 days before the election. The 5 day overlap is referred to as the “golden week” — the days during which someone can register to vote and vote simultaneously at the board of elections.

After receiving a tip earlier Friday regarding voting irregularities at the Morse Road voting center in Columbus, Ohio, frightening accusations and facts have been uncovered.

A source, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a volunteer outside the Morse Road polling center. She has witnessed Somalis — the Somali community in Columbus is the second largest in the United States — who cannot speak English come to the polling center. They are brought in groups, by van or bus. The Democrats hand them a slate card and say, “vote Brown all the way down.” Given that Sherrod Brown is the incumbent Democrat Senator in Ohio, one can assume that this is the reference.

Non-English speaking voters may use an interpreter. The interpreters are permitted by law to interpret for the individual voting; however, they are forbidden from influencing their vote in any way. Another source who also wishes to remain anonymous has seen Democrat interpreters show the non-English speaking Somalis how to vote the Democrat slate that they were handed outside. According to this second source, there are not any Republican Somali interpreters available.

The logical follow-up question is whether a non-English speaking person is an American citizen. Although Republican leadership in Ohio passed a voting reform law, it was repealed by the legislature itself after the Democrats threatened a referendum. According to the Ohio Secretary of State’s web site, someone wanting to vote early in Ohio must supply one of the following in writing on the absentee ballot form, whether voting early by mail or in person: an Ohio driver’s license number; the last four digits of the social security number; or a copy of a current and valid photo identification, military identification, or a current — within the last 12 months — utility bill, including cell phone bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the person’s name and address in addition to the voter registration acknowledgement.

The voter is not required to show the driver’s license or social security card, but must merely write it on the absentee ballot request form. While the individual would be required to show a utility bill, bank statement or other printed document if he or she chooses that option, this is in lieu of writing the driver’s license or social security number. Therefore, the information cannot be checked against the Bureau of Motor Vehicles or other state databases. Essentially, a person is asked to check a box stating that they are a citizen, and the poll worker is to trust that they are the person who is listed on the item being shown or the information being written. In other words, someone can be an illegal resident of the state of Ohio and the United States, get an apartment, turn on the heat, bring in the Columbia Gas bill, register to vote by the deadline, and vote by showing that same bill. There is then no verification that this individual is a citizen of the United States.

Matt McClellan, the press secretary for Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted, explained, “There is a process to challenge a voter’s eligibility. The point in time for a challenge to be brought ended mid October. A poll worker could challenge a voter if they had questions as to whether or not a voter was registered or eligible to vote.” However, if the poll worker does not raise the issue at the time the voting occurs, that person’s vote will otherwise be counted on election day along with everyone else’s vote. McClellan was not aware of any reports of irregularities at the Morse Road voting place in Franklin County.

Two phone calls and a text message to the Public Information Office at the Franklin County Board of Elections were not returned.

According to the Somali Community Association of Ohio’s web site, over 45,000 Somalis live in Ohio. Only 40 percent have become citizens of the United States, and only 25 percent speak English well enough to get a job.

The second source mentioned has seen voter intimidation at this same voting place. A Mitt Romney bus stopped near the voting center, approximately 30 Democrats who were outside handing out the slate cards rushed over to the bus. They yelled at the bus, and swarmed around its door when anyone attempted to exit the bus. This, from the “tolerant left.”

All elements of this story are still developing and will be updated as new information is uncovered. Stay tuned.

keny...."<<The fact Obama was elected in 2008 proves there is very little racism in the USA. >> No, it only proves how bad a President was George W. Bush."...

So now if these White voters vote for future President Romney it will be because they now realize that President Bush was not that bad at all and resident hussein is the WORST president in the history of the USA?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 50% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 46%. Two percent (1%) prefer some other candidate, and another two percent (2%) are undecided. This is the fifth consecutive day that Romney has been at the 50% level of support. He has enjoyed a three- or four-point edge on each of those days. See daily tracking history.

Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.”

New polling shows that the race is tied in Wisconsin, a result confirmed by the fact that the Badger State is receiving visits from Obama, Romney, Paul Ryan and Joe Biden. The importance of this state in the Electoral College battle is hard to overstate. Scott Rasmussen suggests in his weekly newspaper column that Wisconsin May Be the New Ohio this year. That’s a startling result given that the president won Wisconsin by 14 points in 2008.

Romney is up two in Florida, moving that state back into the Toss-Up column. The Rasmussen Reports Electoral College projections now show the president with 237 Electoral Votes and Romney 206. The magic number needed to win the White House is 270. Eight states with 95 Electoral College votes remain Toss-ups. In addition to Florida, the battleground states are Colorado, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

New polling from North Carolina continues to show Romney with a six-point lead in the Tar Heel State. The president is up five in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Senate race is now a surprising Toss-Up. The Rasmussen Reports Senate Balance of Power rankings project that Democrats will end up with 47 Senate seats, the Republicans 47. These totals include four states leaning towards the Democrats and four leaning to the GOP. Other than Pennsylvania, there are five remaining Toss-Ups: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Montana, Virginia and Wisconsin.

The economy, the debates and the Electoral College were the topics on this week’s edition of What America Thinks, Scott Rasmussen’s new weekly television show. Joining Scott to discuss the foreign policy issues of Election 2012 are Terra Lawson-Remer of the Council on Foreign Relations and Michael Balboni, the former head of homeland security for New York. The show is seen on more than 60 stations nationwide.

If you’d like Scott to speak to your organization, meeting or conference, please contact Premiere Speakers.

(Presidential Job Approval Data Below)

A president’s job approval rating is one of the best indicators for assessing his chances of reelection. Typically, the president’s job approval rating on Election Day will be close to the share of the vote he receives. Currently, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) at least somewhat disapprove ( see trends).

Twenty-four percent (24%) believe today’s children will be better off than their parents. That’s a depressingly low number, but the most optimistic assessment measured in years.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) of voters believe the nation is currently heading in the right direction.

The housing market is looking a little stronger. Fifty-five percent (55%) of homeowners now believe their home is worth more than the mortgage.

Rasmussen Reports is a media company whose work is followed by millions on a wide variety of platforms. In addition to the new TV show, we regularly release our work at RasmussenReports.com, through a daily email newsletter, a nationally syndicated radio news service, an online video service and a weekly newspaper column distributed by Creators Syndicate.

Rasmussen Reports polling tends to show less volatility than other polls for a variety of reasons. In 2008, we showed virtually no change during the final 40 days of the campaign. Then-candidate Obama was between 50% and 52% in our polling every single day. He generally held a five- or six-point lead, occasionally bouncing up to an eight-point advantage and only once falling below a four point-lead. This stable assessment of the race is consistent with the reality of what we know about voter behavior. Obama won the election by a 53% to 46% margin.

To get a sense of longer-term Job Approval trends for the president, Rasmussen Reports compiles our tracking data on a full month-by-month basis.

(Approval Index data below)

Intensity of support or opposition can have an impact on campaigns. Currently, 33% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10 ( see trends).

Platinum Members can review additional information from the tracking poll on a daily basis.

During midterm elections, intensity of support can have a tremendous impact on turnout. That was demonstrated in 2010 when Republicans and unaffiliated voters turned out in large numbers to express opposition to the Obama administration’s policies. However, in presidential election years, there is a smaller impact on turnout. Still, all indications so far for Election 2012 suggest that Republicans are more engaged and more likely to turn out.

Rasmussen Reports has been a pioneer in the use of automated telephone polling techniques, but many other firms still utilize their own operator-assisted technology ( see methodology). Pollsters for Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton have cited our " unchallenged record for both integrity and accuracy." During Election 2008, Rasmussen Reports projected that Barack Obama would defeat John McCain by a 52% to 46% margin. Obama was 53% to 46%. In 2004, Rasmussen Reports was the only firm to project the vote totals for both candidates within half a percentage point. Learn more about the Rasmussen Reports track record over the years.

Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. To reach those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones, Rasmussen Reports uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 Likely Voters is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Results are also compiled on a full-week basis and crosstabs for full-week results are available for Platinum Members.

Talk about dividing a country .

What do you think would have happened if a Caucasian president had ever produced and published a You Tube video for ALL WHITE PEOPLE to unite for a WHITE PRESIDENT. This is the MOST SIGNIFICANT DEMONSTRATION of INTENTIONAL DIVISIVE RACISM by ANY PRESIDENT in the history of our country.
Obama announces the 2012 launch of African Americans for Obama.
This is what racism smells like. It can't be explained away. Would you vote for a white person who did this? I wouldn't, and I think they would be run right out of town if they tried it.

This is just some food for thought if you're pondering your vote in November.

Can you imagine Romney putting out a call for all the white brothers and sisters to vote for him because he's white and so are they?

If this video is not alarming to you, simply delete. If you are offended by what's taking place, please pass it on.

Is voter fraud being committed in Ohio?

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two volunteer poll workers at an Ohio voting station told Human Events that they observed van loads of Ohio residents born in Somalia — the state is home to the second-largest Somali population in the United States — being driven to the voting station and guided by Democratic interpreters on the voting process. No Republican interpreters were present, according to these volunteers.

A Mitt Romney bus stopped near the voting center, approximately 30 Democrats who were outside handing out the slate cards rushed over to the bus. Obama's Crass Campaign Ad Shows Contempt For Young Women Voters
Election '12: What kind of a campaign uses crude sexual double entendres to pitch for young women's vote? A desperate one, of course, and that's the Obama campaign. Its new ad shows contempt for young voters.

Lena Dunham, creator of the HBO hit show "Girls," stars in an official campaign ad, attempting, as the vaunted voice of her generation, to win votes for President Obama from young women.

"Your first time shouldn't be with just anybody. You want to do it with a great guy ... someone who really cares about and understands women," the tattoo-festooned hipster coos, citing his support for birth control — odd, given that any cad looking for an easy night without a relationship would do the same.

"Think about how you want to spend those four years. In college-age time, that's 150 years. It's also super uncool to be out and about, when someone says, 'Did you vote?,' and you say, 'No, I wasn't ready,'" she presses.

So voting for Obama is like sex, and voting for Obama is somehow cool, and don't bother your pretty little heads about things such as issues.

If that isn't an insult to young women, what is? Young voters today face tremendous hurdles getting jobs out of college, stand to inherit the liability for Obama's vast debt, and face an empty Social Security pot when they retire.

They deserve to get some answers on these issues. Yet the Obama crowd has them all pegged for creatures who can't think in any terms but sex.

It's a contempt for voters that's not new. It's already been employed by the worst sort of democratic-autocrats, such as Vladimir Putin in his last campaign, and Daniel Ortega during his Sandinista downfall in the 1990 election, in which his "do it for love" pitch failed and he was thrown out.

The Dunham ad might get some votes for Obama, but it takes campaign discourse to a low place and dumbs down U.S. politics.

This isn't leadership. This is smoke and mirrors that conceal a poor record and reveal the Obama campaign's meager regard for the young.

seriously what is wrong with you people

"The Tea Party faithful gathered Saturday for a loud and enthusiastic rally aimed at to getting out the vote on Nov. 6 and putting Republicans Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan in the White House.A crowd of around 1,000 grew to about 2,500 at the rally, which took place inside the old Sam's Club on Regency West Drive.

The list of guest speakers was a Who's Who of conservative leaders — including local Republican state legislative candidates Pam Stevens and Tom Weatherston; and state Rep. Robin Vos; former Navy SEAL Chris Heben; U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson; Ryan's brother, Tobin Ryan; former Gov. Tommy Thompson; Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey; and conservative talk show host Vicki McKenna.

Before the event could get under way, though, organizers say a truck affixed with "Obama" stickers drove through the parking lot and dumped quantities of nails.

"We went outside and picked up what we could," said Lou D'Abbraccio, holding a cup filled with nails. "But this was just wrong."

And Obama has personally caused the Country to be more racially divided than ever before. Many whites are sick of his incompetence, his race baiting and the shenanigans of his "loyal" voters! And blacks have become defensive about Obama losing - his loss is a race issue to them - they care less whaat a mess he made of this country. To whites it is an economic issue. And to women, it has been a wake-up call - hence their swing to Romney. Obama and Biden, and many other Dem leaders have been spouting racial crap for years!!

Just got off the phone with a Cousin in Chicago are. She is a very liberal Dem, but is sick of the Chicago she now sees. She grew up on the near NW-side and now lives in N-Burbs- 65 yrs - but runs a high end fashion store downtown on Oak St off Michigan Ave. Worked on that street for for 40 years! She says Flash Mobs of young blacks routinely show up in the area and beat everybody up - a Sucker Punch Whitey game! And BonB murders are out of control there - a murder rate like Bahgdad. She says the Dems have destroyed that city! We agree it is the entitlement, take-no-responsibility mentality. The Obama Syndrome...
