You could get an Apple Macbook something and also get Microsoft Office Mac 2011 then you would have a great laptop and still have your Office experience.

Two things to keep in mind about the surface is it doesn't work well in your lap and its crippled by the fact it doesn't run legacy software.

It does come with the office suite though I think.

The Macbook is an uncrippled device. Since you have an iPhone it would probably be slightly more compatible and easy to use with the phone.

I suppose it comes down to your comfort zone between using touch and using a real keyboard.
