They Found Him Slumped Over His Machine Gun…
By drillanwr, on October 27, 2012, at 10:24 am
Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, talked with FNC's Megyn Kelly about his son, and his disappointment with the administration's response to the deadly Benghazi attack that took his son and three other Americans. Listening to this father you just don't know if your heart breaks, or if it bursts with pride. Both, I imagine...

The photos of Tyrone Woods as a kid are very important. In the last twelve years we have heard about our brave troops, and most especially our Special Forces and Navy SEALs. They surpass anything Hollywood could fictionally concoct about them and their missions. They are so awesome to those of us safely left behind at home, away from the unimaginable dangers they willingly venture into, that we just don't seem to imagine them having been children. We hold them up to super hero status. For kids to see these fine young men were just like them, and grew up to become the best warriors in the world, is a great example for them to emulate, no matter what they strive for in life. Yes, our troops will always be somebody's children, but they are not children. They are men and women who are dedicated and devoted to the oath they take, most of them even after leaving the military. Today's kids don't evenpledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States in our schools anymore.

As GOP Senators are demanding the surveillance video of the attack be released...

The new claims come as Republican senators demanded that the Obama administration make public the surveillance video taken during and just after the attacks.

Sens. John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire wrote to the defense secretary, CIA director and attorney general demanding that the video from Sept. 11 and 12 be declassified. Pentagon and CIA officials declined to comment on the senators' request. Justice Department officials did not respond to requests for comment.

U.S. intelligence officials this week turned over intelligence reports to Congress showing what officials at the CIA and other agencies knew and when. U.S. officials who have reviewed the material say it shows confusion during and in the days following the attack. Members of Congress have complained that the White House and the intelligence community stuck to the analysis that an angry mob started the attack long after it had become more clear that it was an organized militant operation.

Obama's Defense Secretary Leon Panetta doesn't like anyone questioning or making demands of the administration on this matter...

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta calls the criticism of the Obama administration’s handling of the Libya terror attack “Monday morning quarterbacking.”

Panetta defended the way the White House handled the aftermath of the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans who were killed during an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi for which terror group Ansar al-Sharia took responsibility.

Panetta said that they didn’t have enough “real-time information” to send military forces to respond.

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta said, according to The Associated Press. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

It's not a game, Mr Panetta. The administration had warnings from Amb. Stevens himself in the lead-up to the 9/11/12 attack. Where was the standard security on those people and those areas? It is apparent our Cairo embassy was not any more secure as it was stormed as well. Are our other embassies around the world, and most especially in that region secure enough? Or is it this administration's policy to just cede our sovereign territory and our people to the enemy ... to not make the tough decisions to strike back and fight to defend, hold and preserve it? This is yet another example of Obama and this administration leading from behind. Tyrone Woods and others defied the administrations' indecision and apprehension and charged into the battle to answer the ambassador's calls for help. They knew they were grossly outnumbered, but put up an hours long fight, this small band of brothers. They made the gamble knowing the odds were against them to walk out alive. They only knew our territory and our people needed their help. And they went. Contrary to Joe Biden's queryabout the size of Tyrone Woods's genitals, it was his heart, mind and soul that lead the man that fateful day. It was his convictions and commitment to something greater than himself.

loco, you don't get it. Not surprised.

Of course I don't get it, trollie. I don't get why Dems have to lie and cheat just to stay even with Republicans. It makes zero sense to me.

As for the bogus lying polls, yes, they have to maintain the phony illusion that Obama is ahead, so when the massive Democratic fraud hits, the yellow press and the Libs can say "our polls predicted a win".

How dumb and transparent.

I wish I could be as smart as you and THUG Paul V.
