very possible.

but he didn't want to chance killing a lot of libyans and having some of the americans added to the fray killed.

u s has lost more people in iraq and afghanistan than on 9/11. and we are not loved by iraq or afghanistan. they do not give us preference re business. they do not side with us.

we "won" in libya and libya doesn't protect u s ambassador. some other western countries have pulled out.

ultimately, at least for next decade, we may not be winners in egypt, syria, north africa, pakistan and perhaps soon saudi arabia.

we fight with one hand tied behind our back. we are not respected. we spend a fortune. we suffer some people dead and many injured. we are broke.

the people we support are not good. the people we supported in past were not good. the people who are elected are not good.

romney would be better than obama - but he probably will not get the chance. he has run a better campaign than mccain did. but, he is up against the main stream media. obama gets a very high % of black and hispanic and democratic votes and a majority of women votes. obama gets a high % of votes from those who receive a lot from the government and pay very little. obama gets a lot of support from his cronies.
