The cloud synching has a little longer lag, but you get used to it. When I open a Numbers ss, I expect it in a fraction of a second, but it might take 3-6 seconds.

When I watch a video like the 10/23 Keynote on iPad Mini, and hit the 30 sec back icon, it actually is variable, sometimes less, sometimes more, maybe 22-36 seconds. It seems Apple is managing it for cloud efficiency rather than rewinding precisely 30 seconds.
