Hi Peter: I wouldnt plan on holding Winspear hoping for a takeover
target anytime soon. If a pipe were intersected there is still about 2 yrs
for determining the economics of said deposit. When all the economics are in place Aber would have the most to gain from any
kind of deal. The stock in the meantime should have a pretty good
run., but several factors will determine this as well.
The reasoning:
1. We already know that the counts are excellent
2. We already know something about stone quality. 87% transparents
3. So when we know something about tonnage
Probably the best advice is to load up and as the drill program approaches sell some to cover the investment. The most important
aspect should be CAPITAL PRESERVATION., PERIOD.
4, Winspear offers the most leverage from current prices of any diamond play in North America with the cash to finance as well.
So pick your spot and never play with more than what you can afford.
