It is very hard to convey a feeling or emotion when typing on this sterile medium. The McDonalds comment and the Hillbilly comment was like a friendly jab to the rib cage while sittin' on a bar stool. See, even that does not sound good. I always type with a smile on my face and I am afraid to read the responses.

The Hillbilly comment was because Trump called his ex inlaws hillbillies which I thought was funny. He is so awfully arrogent. [I liked the response and thanks for the information. I went back and did read some of the links and will read the rest in my spare time. Thanks again for the time that you put into it.] The McDonalds comment was a bit of a stretch. McDonalds has placed quality standards on the back burner and has concentrated on international expansion. As a result we have batch cooking (serving cold big macs) and dirty bathrooms. Cold frys to boot. I eat at Burger King now and do not eat at Mcdonalds because I get crappy food at Mcdonalds. The whopper is a masterpiece. It is steamin' hot and charbroiled. The frys were reformulated about a year and they are awsum. Better than McDonalds. Burger King also serves Coke, a real cash cow (a plus for BK because coke is an American icon). I do not know who owns Burger King but I think that it is a great long term hold for money that must not be lost. We used to get consistant service at McDonalds, but that is a thing of the past.

I had my credit card out a few days ago ready to plunk down 20 bucks for a calling card to try out ftel's Tempest Gateway. I was talking to a secretary at ftel over idt's gateway and she did not mention anything abut our connection. By the way PC to PHONE is DEAD. IDTC HAS PHONE TO PHONE. THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT I AM AWARE OF THAT A PERSON CAN ACTUALLY USE. Anyway, I wanted to buy some minutes which I was unable to do. The only ones who can use the system are the investors (backwards in my opinion). I read from a ftel PR that they have decided to let the investors USE THE SYSTEM FOR FREE UNTIL JAN. This is because it is impossible for ftel to bill anyone for the system.... This is a trasparent ploy that I do not like. Don't make it sound like you are doing something because you want to and not because you have to.

I have a substantial amount in idtc and it should have gotten ftel's attention. They were supposed to call me back because I told them that I was speaking over idt's gateway and wanted to try out the Tempest before investing in ftel. I told them that I believed that ftel was one of the few companeis along with idtc that would thrive in the ip tel market. I was told that I would recieve a phone call whithin 15 minutes for a demonstration. I did not and I will not invest in the company.

It takes an incredible amount of time to set up infrastructure. We are looking at many months before ftel brings in meaningful income if not years. FTEL keeps floating shares and putting out PR's that will scare away the big money for the time being.

Also just because you have the infrastructure, now you also need customers. Another year. Customers will not just come pouring in. We are all biased because we are keenly awar of the industry. Try getting your mom to use this system. You need to advertise. Another stock float and more time. The numbers will finally tell the story. IDT's numbers will be a test bed for the rest of the ip tel industry for the short term. For the rest of the industries sake, you had better hope that idtc shows some good ip tel revs from their PHONE TO PHONE DIVISION (NET2PHONE DIRECT) in the next few quarters or the hype will wear off, and we will all be screwed until the numbers speak over the next few years and not the next few months.

By the way, IDT has gateways and local numbers in 27 cities and a few countries in operation today. They have only acknowledged 2 cities in their press releases. They are also the acknowledged low price telecom reseller in the world. It is nothng to add the bells and whistles like fax forwarding, etc.

Get your facts straight Evan! Jab, Jab :)
