Yea, I remember Heinz chronicling that whole phenomena... prices of tech plummet because they were adjusted for memory and speed and stuff!!! LOL, So a $1000 dollar computer actually costs $200 as far as inflation numbers are concerned because it's 5X faster than last years model... VIOLA! DEFLATION IN TECH!!

LOL, people think everything is fine now... we haven't seen ANYTHING yet!

1.) We are still basically non-competative vs China... unemployment problem is NOT fixed... in fact it's probably headed much higher shortly... regardless of the election.
2.) i-rates are headed MUCH higher... this is kind of a big "DUHH", since they are zero... but it's going to crush the budget and increase cost of business dramatically.
3.) Bernanke has chased all savers into risky investments... paying them zero on their cash... the next downturn is gonna by truly ugly.

The fed is going to be the story of the century... that whole balance sheet is basically another section of the budget and congress and president are going to have to decide if they want to keep buying back government bonds at the TIPPY TOP of the market!!

This is probably the most amazing and very dark humor of the whole thing... the fed is buying bonds back at these prices!!! The government sold bonds yielding much higher rates (much lower prices) and the fed buys them back way up here! UFB
