That's a partisan statement, which is difficult to prove. Regardless of who's fault it is that those programs are empty of funds, the fact remains that if we want those programs to continue, we need to find the money to do it. So the American people should be willing to bear the full brunt of the taxation required to fund those programs. If they are not, then they can always vote to shrink the programs. But what I object to is the desire of the American people on both sides of the aisle to fund the old people with money from our kids. That is immoral.

And btw, my father is a raging GOP member and he says exactly the same things you do. "That's my money!" Fine, then let's increase taxes to pay for it and I'll pay my fair share, but stop stealing from my kids.
