Now we have 50 billion in the bank. If we had not done that we would be broke today like everyone else.

Texas has oil, Oklahoma has oil, LA has oil, California has oil and all the rest of them resources. WHAT THEY DON'T HAVE is a great big SOCIALIST permanent fund to save some of the resource money for the kids.

We made the right wingers put 25% of all oil revenue into a permanent fund (now 50% of all state resource income) and then we put it in the consitution that it took a 75% vote to touch the principle, we inflation it every year and we do not allow much investing instate.

The Republican's fought us every step of the way, but we controlled the house and forced (and bribed them)them to capitulate.

But it was liberals instituting a huge socialist program, something any state could do, but doesn't!, that saved our state!

Nice... I love the... We have ours, and you don't, so too bad for you, attitude. Doesn't sound very "social" or liberal to me. The kids of illegals in California could use some of that money. You know. It's your Duty to Society" Spread around the wealth. Alaska was more financially CONSERVATIVE and prudent than other states that may have acted irresponsibly in the past. Let's deploy the social safety net for California, so Alaska can send California, lets say.. 15 Billion. That's the liberal way.. Let me guess. The liberals want the conservatives to help those less fortunate, but they don't want to do it themselves when they have the surplus? Welcome to the hypocrisy of the right-wingers.

And so it goes,
