Well, maybe you need to word your posts more carefully. You said in EVERY case. So I rattle off half a dozen countries where socialism is a huge success and you say: "well not those countries they are small countries. Well make up your mind. Is it only in the big countries then? And why would a big country be different than a little country.

Do you post your economic ideas as carelessly?

I look at history and have overwhelming evidence that

in every case where Socialism has been tried, it leads to economic stagnation, excess poverty, and a widening of the gap between rich and poor.

To the extent that the US has allowed Entitlement spending and Socialism to expand in this country, we are now suffering the consequences.
