Well, Steve, as you can imagine, I have stayed far up the food chain from that whole thing, but I have genuinely loved three very gay guys who were my friends and neighbors for two wonderful years, and there was a true bond of love there in spite of it all. They were my token gays, and I was their token Jesus Freak fanatic, DURING the Anita thing, so it was all kind of special to me, looking back on it, as we used to joke about me being their "token
religious fanatic." And sometimes I was referred to lovingly as
"Anita". It was all very upfront.

The one I loved the most died this spring of "liver cancer", which I just doubt, but it was rough. Patty, my fanatic charismatic best friend from those days and myself pushed so hard to see Victor at the last days that I really think they were afraid we were going to storm the house with rifles in one hand and a Bible in the other and proceed to Victor's room. Actually all we wanted to do was sing him some hymns because he loved hymns. And of course we would have prayed with him, but he was too weak by then and really didn't want us to see him looking like he did.

He had a huge wake because he was a magnificent weaver, one of the most inspired you could imagine, and I do believe I could feel God's presence there.

So, into each life God will bring those He wants there, and in the end we will be the better for it. But, really, I've been pretty far up the food chain otherwise.

And as for Africa, do you really think those people are THAT immoral? I doubt it, not as the gospel has inundated that continent now for decades. But what about misquiotos? Our Center for
Disease Control in Altanta discounts the possibility, yet a Christian born-again female doctor on TBN talked seriously about the fact that it WAS being spread by misquitos and they were hiding it because of the panic thing. That was her statement anyway, and she had documentation on it, and I lost her address. I believe the CDC should go to Africa and test the blood in mosquitoes. I will tell you that I most certainly know the misquiitos are full of HIV blood, and they just take it from person, to person, to person. Just like they used to take the malaria. In Atlanta it was spreading out of control. Guess what you find in great abundance in Atlanta. Drug users and mosquitos biting them. To discount mosquitos is insane, yet they are never, never brought up as obvious dirty needles. Perhaps they account for all of these cases of totally heterosexuals who have no clue where they got it? Nor can the doctors trace any source, there are not a lot of those cases, but they do appear in print now and then.

Just a thought, but it makes sense.

Well, I guess I'm just in the mood to attack reality these days. I think it definitely needs attacking. Question: Do we need a new thread to discuss the basics of reality as it all gets worse? I'm watching the climate summit real, real close indeed. In fact, must go as it's time for a thing on it now.

So good to hear from you again Steve. I so appreciate your comments about what is going on with our Lord and especially with our Lord in your life. God is Great and God is Good. And for sure I thank Him for the food, as He so well knows. I am blessed not to be a blimp as much as I love food.
