And therein lies the difference between a liberal and a conservative. You conservatives value money and we liberals value wisdom. You don't even seem to understand what knowledge is, or that is primarily what college is for. To learn. It is not just for making money. The first objective is the development of the mind which is in the best interest of the person; and society. Development of the mind increases awareness of the universe. No we consider wisdom as the reason we can make more money than liberals. You should talk to my son about "Higher Education". His friends come out of SDSU with a computer science degree and have almost no relevant knowledge. Unless you want to apply for a job opening that was posted in 2002. He says they teach his friends a bunch of outdated technology. He says if he were in a University and needed to ask a programming question, he would have to hope he could get the Professors time and get one answer. He can go online into a programmers forum, ask the same question and have answers 40 answers on different approaches to tackle the problem in 30 minutes. You paid 500k for your kids to go to a University to get the whole "experience", Sex,Drugs,and Rock and Roll?. I can buy a Roundtrip ticket to Vegas on Southwest, with 5K in his pocket. No debt after the experience. You sent your kids to Europe.. Great choice. Europe will be there in 30 years. We sent our son to the Rain Forests in Brasil, Colombia, Peru, and Papua New Guenia because they won't be there in 30 years . As a family we speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
