I was happy to see today's news, although I don't expect it to cause any rise, unless it gets picked up by Dow Jones. Probably the only people who noticed it are those already watching OZON, and I think most of us already own the stock. Perhaps if it had a title like "New Board member to help market ozone-based systems to decontaminate food" or "New Cyclopss board member to promote solution for E. coli food contamination", then it might catch the eye of of some new investors. Nonetheless, I think it was a very positive development, and bodes well for the future.

The real purpose of this post is this....

This is from Guestcare's homepage:
etven.com
"EPA's WAVE program recognizes water conservation. To highlight the positive water quality and consumption benefits of its ozone laundry systems, GuestCare sought and designation as a WAVE supporter by the EPA. The WAVE program is intended to encourage commercial businesses and institutions to reduce water consumption while increasing efficiency, profitability and competitiveness."

Anyone know if OZON has sought designation as a WAVE supporter? If not, I think they should seriously consider it. Why let Guestcare have that marketing advantage?

Info on WAVE:
es.epa.gov
epa.gov

Becoming a WAVE supporter:
epa.gov

I think OZON should also look into getting endorsements from some national environmental groups, especially groups concerned with energy and water conservation.

What do you folks think?

regards,
Mike

Mike someone over at the Yahoo thread mentioned another potential competitor in the food processing business. Flow International, they use high pressure washing and hope to do so with food as well.

''We continue to develop new applications for our UHP technology. We are working on refining the commercial application of our ''fresher under pressure''(TM) food purification process as well as other unique applications of our technology in our core markets,'' said Tarrant.
