Wayne: I have a very small position, have watched this one and others. In better times, all you say may be true. You must be realistic in this market. Not an exceptional day today (on volume) in spite of good results. It is the market now, not the Co. Actually considering the sentiment, ANZ did very well. In my mind, the most positive aspect of this Co. is its cash position, enabling it to hopefully ride out these trying times.

Hoping for the best for all you guys who have held in there.

Phil

Wayne,my info is that they still have approx.$8 million Canadian remaining at this point.

The company will be very careful with expenditures at this point since who knows when the next opportunity to raise further funds will come along. In this gold market environment it could be a while, although continuing good results will help.

At the present planned "burn" rate, this would last all through 1998,but I have been told that ANZ management will be re-assessing their two projects on an ongoing basis as results come in and may change their exploration emphasis as results dictate.

They(management)are very aware of the need to be careful with the cash and are,I think, being quite prudent.

Bottom line is that there is plenty of cash available to generate much more good news yet.
